- 1 pound fresh green beans stemmed and cleaned
- 5-8 small red potatoes depending on size rough cut
- ¼ yellow onion
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 tbsp chicken base
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Splash of cream
- Place all ingredients except for cream in a deep sauce pan over medium high heat and stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium and cover.
- Cook until potatoes are tender.
- Add a splash of cream and stir.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
