I love guacamole and I have loved it since the very first time I ever tasted it. Creamy, rich, spicy – a very unique flavor and one of the all time great dips. It is also very versatile, and can be used in a variety of ways from spreads to toppings and also as components for  appetizers and snacks…VIVA!



  • 4-5 ripe avocados
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin


  • Slice avocados in half and remove seed. Scoop out meat and place in a large bowl. Add all other ingredients. Using a fork mash up avocados and stir to completely mix until well blended, add salt and pepper to taste, refrigerate.
