Aunt Pat’s Chocolate Chip Cookies


  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter or margarine softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pkg. Jello brand chocolate flavored instant pudding and pie filling 4 serving size
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips


  • Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in a large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chocolate chips (batter will be stiff). Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen.
